We’re excited to introduce the next chapter of club basketball at OGP Ladera!
Beginning this fall, Open Gym Premier and 5onfive are bringing together two established South Orange County basketball communities to create one premier club program based at OGP Ladera.
For more than 25 years, 5onfive has built a reputation for competitive teams, quality coaching and player development. By combining that experience with OGP’s facility, tournaments, leagues, camps and basketball resources, our goal is to create an elevated club experience and a clear pathway for players looking to take the next step in their development.
WHAT PLAYERS CAN EXPECT
A Premier Home Facility
Teams will have OGP Ladera as their home base, providing players with a high-quality basketball environment for practices, training and competition.
Experienced & Committed Coaches
The program will bring together talented coaches from both OGP and 5onfive, creating a deeper coaching staff committed to teaching the game, developing players and building competitive teams.
Player Development
Development will be at the center of the program, with an emphasis on individual skill development, basketball IQ, team concepts and preparing players to compete at increasingly higher levels.
High-Quality Competition
Teams will compete in a strong schedule of OGP events and other high-quality local and travel tournaments, creating competitive opportunities throughout the season.
A Stronger Basketball Community
Bringing OGP and 5onfive together creates a larger player pool, strong teams and a more connected basketball community for families throughout South Orange County.
Tryouts for the upcoming season will be held September 1 and September 2 at OGP Ladera.

OGP YBL AND CAMPS
While 5onfive will take the lead on our collaborative club basketball program, OGP will continue to operate our Youth Basketball League (YBL), camps, tournaments and other programming at OGP Ladera.

Our recreational and developmental league will continue to provide players of all experience levels with an opportunity to learn, develop and compete.
