Basketball Scout and Digital Content ProducerAnaheim, CA
Position Summary
We are currently hiring basketball scouts and digital content creators for the largest youth basketball event operator in the Western United States, please apply!
The scout and content producers will be leading our efforts to create two new media brands to service the club and scholastic basketball landscape in Southern California and across the Western US.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of basketball, strong communication skills, and the ability to create compelling multimedia content. Those who are experienced in talent evaluation and have the ability to produce player and team write-ups in addition to other digital and written basketball content are preferred. Job Description
- Attend basketball games, tournaments, and events to identify potential talent.
- Compile detailed scouting reports on prospects, including strengths, weaknesses, and overall potential.
- Develop engaging written content such as articles, blog posts, and social media posts related to basketball.
- Create multimedia content including videos, graphics, and podcasts to showcase players, teams, and basketball-related topics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and basketball news to generate relevant and timely content.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align content creation efforts with organizational goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and other content creators to produce high-quality multimedia content.
- Build and maintain relationships with players, coaches, and other stakeholders within the basketball community.
Basic Qualifications
- Previous experience in basketball scouting, coaching, or player development.
- Ability to work nights and weekends and travel on occasion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling content.
- Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools such as video editing software, graphic design tools, and social media management platforms (preferred).

Social Media CoordinatorAnaheim, CA
Position Summary
The Social Media Coordinator will manage OGP’s social media presence, focusing on weekend events. This part-time role involves capturing and creating engaging content, managing social platforms, and ensuring consistent messaging. The position requires 1-2 in-office days per month. This is a great opportunity to build social media marketing skills in a sports-focused environment!
Job Description
- Capture and showcase highlights during weekend events, sharing real-time updates across social media platforms.
- Schedule and create engaging posts and stories that resonate with our target audience.
- Manage all social media platforms for OGP and its sub-brands (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube), ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
- Work closely with our youth basketball coaches, players, and staff to capture behind-the-scenes moments, success stories, and inspiring content.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to deliver high-quality, timely content.
- Coordinate with other departments (IT, Tournaments, Basketball Operations) to execute marketing projects successfully.
- Help maintain the efficiency of our website and provide support for content updates as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Basketball knowledge is a plus.
- Hands-on experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Some graphic design experience is preferred (Adobe Creative Cloud).
- Basic understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus.
Educational Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of social media experience for a brand/company
- Bachelor’s degree or currently in school for Communications or a related field

Event Staff
Position Summary:
- Assist event directors with executing various operational tasks at tournaments and camps
- Assist with event registration and check-in
- Ensure proper facility setup
Qualifications:

- Must be available on weekends

Basketball Coach
Position Summary:
- Provide high-quality, passionate and valuable instruction to players
- Prepare and execute two (2) 90-minute practices weekly
- Participate in a minimum of two (2) monthly tournaments
- Submit written analysis of players as needed and communicate roster / team needs
- Complete NCAA coach certification
- Work in conjunction with the Director of College Placement Services to assist players with the college recruiting process
Qualifications:
- Current or former experience as high school or college coach
- Expansive network with current college coaches preferred
- Timely and detailed oriented
- Strong communicator
- Must be willing to travel and available on weekends
- Own or access to a motorized vehicle
