Welcome to OGP Hawk Hoops! Our club team director is former NBA player Juaquin Hawkins.

Open Gym Premier offers a positive, supportive environment for youth to engage the game of basketball, peers, and coaches in a meaningful way. What I value about the OGP program is the emphasis on player development. Players are taught to be attentive to spacing, screening, position, pace, and other subtle details that add up to make a big difference. The OGP Coaching Core do an excellent job at teaching skill, but more importantly, building the confidence of players.

  • Fall – Winter 2026 – 2027 season tryout dates:
    • Tuesday, August 25th, 2026
      • 4th – 5th Grade (Jr. 3SSB/Gold/Silver): 5pm – 6:30pm
      • 6th – 7th Grade (Bronze): 6pm – 7:30pm
      • 7th – 8th Grade (Jr. 3SSB/Gold/Silver/Bronze): 5:30pm – 7pm
    • Wednesday, August 26th, 2026
      • 1st – 3rd Grade: 5:30pm – 7pm
      • 4th – 6th Grade (Silver/Bronze): 5pm – 6:30pm

  • Six month season commitment
  • Two 90 minute practices per week
  • 9-12 competitive weekend tournaments
  • One seasonal travel tournament (subject to availability)
