The Open Gym Premier OC All-Star event took place on the evening of March 22nd at OGP Ladera, drawing a passionate crowd of over 300 spectators made up of family, friends, and basketball fans. The event showcased 20 of the top high school basketball players from Orange County, providing an exciting and competitive atmosphere.
The game was a thrilling back-and-forth battle, but in the end, Team Pluimer emerged victorious over Team Berger with a final score of 135-120. The game was filled with high-flying dunks, three-point sharpshooting, and intense moments that had the crowd on their feet.
The youth basketball league introduces the top 20
Before the action kicked off, there was a special player introduction ceremony. The athletes walked out alongside the youth players of OGP Ladera, giving the event a community feel. During halftime, the energy didn’t dip as the OGP Ladera youth players took the court, showing off their own budding talent and keeping the excitement rolling.



Standout players
One of the standout players of the night was Dallas Washington, a commit to Long Beach State, who had an explosive performance for Team Pluimer. He dropped an impressive 39 points, hitting 5 three-pointers and grabbing 7 rebounds, leading his team to victory.
For Team Berger, Wesley Trevino, who is committed to Cal State Dominguez Hills, led the charge with 23 points. Trevino also knocked down 5 three-pointers and grabbed 6 rebounds, keeping his team within striking distance throughout the game.


Another key contributor to Team Pluimer was Brandon Benjamin, a University of San Diego commit. Benjamin nearly completed a triple-double, finishing with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 8 assists. His all-around performance was instrumental in securing the win for Team Pluimer.



The atmosphere at OGP Ladera was electric, and the event itself showcased some of the best young basketball talent in Orange County. Thanks to OGP Cares for making it all happen, and to everyone who came out to support the athletes.
