With the summer season in full effect, Open Gym Premier wants to take a moment to shine light on some of our coaching staff. Often overlooked, coaches are the backbone of any good team and set each and every player and parent up for a successful and beneficial season. Once a month, we want to take some time to spotlight our hardworking coaches and give our #OGPFamily a bigger picture about our staff.
Meet Camryn and Michaela!
What team are you coaching?
Camryn: 12U Girls OGP Blue
Michaela: 11U/12U Girls OGP Black
Tell us a little about yourself.
C: “I’m from Concord, CA and currently a graduate student playing my Covid year at Concordia University, Irvine! In my free time, I like to hang out at the beach with my friends and family.”
M: “I grew up in Orange County, played high school basketball at Mater Dei and now playing at Concordia University, Irvine. When I’m free, I spend my time training for college and spending quality time with my friends and family”
What do you like most about coaching at Open Gym Premier?
C: “This is my first season coaching with OGP but I love the atmosphere here, everyone loves basketball!”
M: “This is my first season with the program and what I love most is all the different personalities on my team and getting to know the girls! And of course teaching them basketball!”
