A premier youth basketball experience in Surf City…
Open Gym Premier (OGP) is expanding to Huntington Beach, CA. OGP will launch a club basketball program in the region led by Chris Henry, a former assistant coach at Marina High School and player at Washington State University and Mater Dei High School.
The program is excited to work with Larry Anaya as the Senior Advisor for Huntington Beach who brings over 17 years of experience with historic Ocean View as a coach and community member. Larry Anaya is a California native and grew up in Cerritos and Diamond Bar, playing basketball at both Whitney and Diamond Bar High Schools. Coach Anaya has proven to be a dedicated pillar in the Orange County youth basketball community, working as a coach in the Boys and Girls club and several other club teams, with a proven track record of multiple Championship wins and winning the Southern Pacific AAU West Coast National tournament with his teams.
MEET THE DIRECTORS
Plans for the new OGP Huntington Beach include a high quality club team program with experienced coaches, organized schedule, quality practice facility, competitive tournaments and a pathway for player development. A grand opening will take place on Sunday, May 5th that is set to include free shirts, food, music and a basketball clinic led by professional coaches. Boys and girls basketball players at all levels from ages 8 to 14 are encouraged to attend.
